What if you let go of things that no longer serve you?
We are all experiencing the same universal challenge, which is unique in our world's history: a lock-down or some form of restriction of our mobility due to CV-19. We are really in it together as we have never been before. With this massively challenging period comes an opportunity to reflect on your life as it was before, what it's like now and what you might want to create later. For some this might be more challenging than for others and, for those of you who are ready for this, I have a couple of questions to help.
When you are creating the life you want, it's important to investigate what's no longer serving you. These can be #limiting #beliefs, #decisions, things, habits, places and people.
Often my clients find letting go of these things hard as they are so used to these #patterns, #habits or people. A sudden event (like a lock-down, accident or death) often helps to re-evaluate your life choices, so perhaps it's a great time to make conscious choices. A great question to explore might be: What's the worst thing that could happen if you let go of the things no longer serve you?
And a couple of follow-up questions:
- What's the best thing that could happen when you let go?
- What's the worst thing that could happen if you didn't let go?
- And what's the best thing that can happen if you didn't let go?
These types of questions follow the #Cartesian #logic and allows you to explore all #possibilities.
